Nooooooo! Been raining all night, still is and I can't risk my dodgy adductor strain. A couple of unintentional foot plants and it could stuff it up completely
Dry or damp and I was willing to risk it.

I've been looking forward to this one for weeks, next is Kaiteriteri...

Mwahahaha people keep asking if I'm crook or recovering from major illness when riding uphill with me.

I did the mammoth one year - proudly thought I was gonna be the lucky last but then there was this bloody 70+ rider with one lung behind me- bloody burglar

Adductor strain? You strained a snake?

You know I gotta hand it to the French. Either they get bored easy or just like messing up perfectly good disciplines.
First it was fanging around carparks on dirtbikes with road tyres & calling it supermotard & then they weren't happy with cross country & downhill mtbing being seperate so invented enduro racing.

    Been learnng bout stuff

I wouldn't get one at retail...

I've got a 32t Race Face and Blackspire and the 34t Revolution.

They all do what it says on the tin.

I really want a couple of Absolute Black oval, narrow wide rings.

The Turners climbing track should be quite cool when done.
Bit narrow for >700mm bars at the moment and I copped a few branches in the helmet vents and ripped them off the trees...

Oh, and going down the old track from Turners to the golf course, I needed a kidney belt. Arms and legs were fine. Kidneys were not...

Nelson riding is awesome, my folks are about to retire up there. They have bought a house up on the hill near involution.

I don't want to tell anyone how to suck eggs, but those oval rings are only any good if your pedal stroke is perfect. Most people are so uneven it doesn't work properly. Plus they really need some adjustment so they can be tuned to each riders pedal stroke.
