It never occurred to either of us for him to jump back on. But, it's prolly for the best. If a solo rider comes off his bike, it's clear in the rules that they mustn't rejoin after all.

There was no damage to Al, but his helmet is scraped and clearly compromised. A big crash after that wee off, and who knows what that might have spelled.

We're in agreement that him coming off, is race retirement every time.

I honestly don't know if we could have held the Pirate and Darren out for the whole race, but I really wanted to see how the drag race down to turn six was gonna play out.

a wise choice as there's plenty of adrenaline possibly masking injuries etc the last thing ya need is to go full tit into the next corner and find another issue..

Goober was only a bike length or two behind you as well and we were a couple of lengths behind him so it might not have just been the two of you into T6

Just working out our travel, about 2200km and 34 hours on the road/Ferry for the trip

Fucking awesome weekend anyway, must have been several slabs of piss owed after it

Through the dipper is not yours or his strongest suit though from what we saw, so you'd have had to play catch up. I expected to come out side by side with the pirate.

It's my worst corner on the track, given our lap times were very similar it's probably in your best interest that I don't get it right

I think if you'd pulled it off you would have been slightly ahead of him but there would have been bugger all in it

The short straight before the dipper he made ground on us, but we can't get full throttle before I hook third gear for fear of the bike going straight off the left hand side of the track. I think his and our bikes are pretty even in speed.

We'll see what those lap times look like with transponders fitted bro. Think we went faster than ever in the last race, but what it feels like and what the stopwatch says are rarely the same.

Yeah, Marktime doesn't seem to accurate but no doubt keeps the cost down

It's spot on if there is clear track in front and behind ya. But the people trying to write those times down are pretty much screwed if there's a group.

Can't really see how the oil was spread across the whole width of the track though?
