    New rider, again, saying hello

Not saying hello again, just new to riding again.

Cliché, fat guy in my 30s finally back on the road after 11 years away from riding. Last time I rode was as a bike messenger in London. obscure medical condition ruled me out of the game for a 10 year pit stop.

Back on two wheels in a new country that makes me feel as safe as I did while couriering around what I thought were the worst drivers in the English speaking world, until now.

Anyway, no moaning. I've finally got my smile back and nothing is going to take that from me for at least a short while.

    So anyway, hi all.

You're allowed to moan about our road manners. We're fucking horrible.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Thanks, and already have a couple SUV's but to be honest I don't even feel very safe when driving those around some of your licensed road users. Gonna start looking at light armored personal carriers if this carries on. But even with all the kama karse but jobs driving around, riding is still fun. (Maybe more fun even )

And yep I'm pom. However did you guess?

    Welcome you retreaded biker

Meh, Auckland's not much different to London really...and both are much better once you get outside the city limits and onto the back roads that suit bikes. At least the recent weather would make you feel homesick surely?
