...someone could test the law by running into the side of him while exiting the highway...I know who would be losing their case in court, and it wouldn't be the plod...even if he were wrong... We have a law enforcment officer who regularly parks in a temporary 70kmh road works area.

The only problem is there isn't really enough room for him to get off the road completely, but that doesn't seem to matter to him as he parks there during the day and night.

Is it legal (and safe) for him to be parked in a marked turning lane?
