When a person is forbidden to ride until they obtain a proper license, does this have an expiry date?
Or can that persons bike be still impounded, say like 4 years later?
Or will they just tell said person to go home and stop being naughty?

Don't think you've actually had an answer? Essentially being forbidden is after you've been caught riding outside of conditions (same for something like driving, driving a manual while you're auto only etc).

My understanding, is that until you have rectified the original issue, it stands. How the forbidden exists in the system, no idea (ie, would an officer be flagged by it).
