Had to move ring peg. Use thrust washers and cut skirt depending on rod size.
thats the promblem with this ,gt125 bottom end with standard mb 50 pistons only just puts this within the rules , what is the max 100cc oversize ? has it changed form years ago ..not looked into it for 2 strokes

104 never changed, unlike the 4stroke rule which has gone up 3 times. Just saying.

It will never happen Dave those 100cc two strokes are just to fast, Look at all the GP results they are loaded to the gunnels with 2 strokes.
Even if the MNZ did allow to go to 108 or 111cc The four stokes and the 2t 125's (who have access to plenty of suitable)pistons would just demand more cc's anyway.
Then someone would try and attach an amendment to allow something else like Alcohol fuel.

    Oh bitter, very bitter....

Don't know how much commonality there is between the T90 twin and the 125. If the 90 crank is a drop in, there's a possible 100 w/c option. There used to be a few running in buckets way back when...

Yes it is bitter but that is unfortunately the statue quo with regards to the piston situation for the 100cc 2 strokes.
re the t90/125 They share the same stroke My t90 has t125 pistons in it, the sleeve is plenty thick enough. I think the stinger had bigger carbs.
    Scotts is a GT125 though.
The Wolf is pretty rare now. Not to mention 40 years old, shame to see any more of them busted up for buckets, not to mention they are piston port and have a 5 speed.

the 4 strokes had to go up , having 20hp 4 strokes with 25hp 2 strokes would not be right , i think everything is fair now , running alcohol in 125 air cooled 2 strokes would be just cheating , i'v seen enough of them that run fine as they are , just down to the rider , if the cc's went up say 5cc just let all f4 bikes go up ...simple

T engine is a terrible choice. 5 speed, as wide as a barn, overly complex and iron 2 transfer barrels. Mine came from chch as an ex bucket. Its going the other way as a road bike. One day. Would have been finished by now if the 100 hadn't absorbed so much time fecking about with piston and crank work a rounds.

Choice. That's a good result. Alway though that thing would produce good numbers.

Yes it could be the CDI box, I've got another one sitting here if you want to have a play? I think it's off a SP but would need to check serial numbers...
Or maybe time to try an ignitech on it.

I think I have the entire loom, I'd avoid cutting the CDI plus off and deal to the other half...
I'm back now happy new year.
