Is it too simplistic to simply state that this is how we live in our country, if you don't like it don't come here.
I notice its only western countries that are obliged to be tolerant of other cultures, when i can eat a bacon sandwich in a mosque they can wear a burka in new Zealand, until then they can fuck off

Unfortunately I think that it is. Tolerance and diversity are key characteristics of 'western' cultures. It's a catch-22, but it's also what has allowed us to progress from the dark ages. We don't burn heretics any more for questioning the rules (or 'infidels' in the terms of ISIS), and sometimes the rules change when their challenges prove true.

I'm from England (a long long time ago) and as far as I can tell the country is fucked due to exactly that, letting too many people bring too much of their own cultures and then failing to assimilate. if you want to live under Sharia law then stay the fuck over there* Build your mosques, build your synagogues, all that is fine, but tolerance only stretches so far and IMHO it is getting pushed a bit too far in quite a few countries.
* I realise that as an immigrant this makes me a giant hypocrite, but I have had a Jimmys pie and drunk Speights so I have tried to fit in. I draw the line at bestiality and Hamilton girls though, you can keep that you bloody weirdos.
The thing I found most ironic when I was in the mother country recently, was the muslims in full oppressive regalia walking down the street with their kids in designer pushchairs carrying harrods and mcdonalds bags. Seems they pick and choose which bits of the infidel culture they are opposed to.

Like in the 90's when about half of Hong Kong moved to NZ, bought up most of Chowick and Japaranga and opened their own Chinatown with their own shops, garages, restaurants etc. They didn't even try to assimilate but were quick to grizzle when little Hwafong didn't do too well at school because the teacher didn't speak Chinese and Hwafong didn't know enough basic engrish to understand simple instructions from his primary school teacher.
Bullshit. I R englishy too, but a relatively recent quality import. When the "west" plays victim, they scream for extradition and for the "offender" to be tries under their law. This would suggest to me that the "west" favours the "victim" choosing the "law" under which a person should be tried and judged. So why shouldn't sharia be an option for muslim "victims"? Half of the football parks are covered with blood at the weekends anyway...
I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
Wot he said an all.
As for being tolerant, that went out the window when Islamic's here in NZ at their special non English speaking schools stood up and clapped when mostly Americans died in 911.
We are making a rod for our own backs here in NZ.
Have we not seen it happening and going very badly in the UK and everywhere else these haters have emigrated to en mass.
That Chowick shopping centre, these days has any number of Kiwi's strolling the streets and frequenting the establishments there. There is no hidden danger there, no staring from behind closed curtains. No one covers their identity with burka.Go the Frogs. Live here obey our laws or go home. That is simply how it should be.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
got a link for that?
i can only hope you're as disparaging of kura reo, private 'christian' schools, synagogues where hebrew is the dominant language, chinese restaurants where whitey don't go or anywhere else....
is it such a fucking sin to prefer speaking a language other than english?
as for clapping when americans died (if, in fact, it did happen) i'm too fucking indifferent to give a shit, i don't value americans highly.
plus saddened, cos i know who really done it...)
