I can probably pick the battery up from Caseye and bring it out to West Auckland if thats of any help. Fair bit closer to the Shore.

When I'm ready for a brand new one, I'll most probably contact him. I'm sure if he had something he'd have piped up, I wouldn't expect or accept a brand new one for free, I wouldn't feel right.

Thanks mate, I've contacted Caseye, hopefully arranging something. I really appreciate the offer.

I have done worse. I did say that if Caseye's one doesn't fit to get back to me. I do have a couple of "second hand" batteries available.

Put that on your watch list in case you end up needing to buy one.
Not sure what they retail at but it looks cheapish.
A YB14L-A2 Yuasa battery retails at $88 from the NZ distributor.

Probably not that cheap, but depending on what is needed and how big a sob-story he has...

Does spending all your spare cash on cannabis count as a plausible sob story?

A plausible story but one unlikely to lead me to offer even a small discount.
