Different bike, that's McLaughlin, Pridmore's teammate, , that's got Lockheed calipers and I think had the monoshock conversion

A gs550 wiwith silver paint and an ugly seat. Even Suzuki must have felt guilty about using the K name next to this abortion. Std 550 was OK.

I agree, some people are always looking for a loophole or some way to screw you out of something.
It was a $1 reserve auction. Deliberately done that way to generate interest. You can't raise the reserve after it has been met

Ebay maybe, Not necessarily on trademe. The wording is VERY clear, and it's been detailed in the question and answers. He won't have a problem

I reckon that isnt bad buying. Styling by Hans Muth! Original, unmolested, and with Revvin' Kevin ("See god then brake") autograph.

It would be a fun wee thing to have for a Sunday afternoon pootle and I reckon you would not lose money if you looked after it.

    good spotting.

It seems to still have the under tank front brake master cylinder with cable operated lever though..... lots of opportunity for stuff to go wrong.

Its not a Katana, its a cynical attempt to cash in on the bigger bikes reputation by giving it a restyle that isn't a patch on the 750/1000/1100s. Even the latter 250/400s were correct to style. The 650s were just as wretched as the 550. I had a GS550 and later a Katana but these are barstard offspring best forgotten.

I wonder if that signature is spelt correctly but who cares? If it were a slabbie or an RGV it would be relevant. Kinda like getting Marc Marquez to sign your CB360. Why? What's the link?

I wouldn't pay $750 for the complete bike.

IDK, but $750 for a complete quad sounds OK to me. Of course I'ld expect a recently recond diff for that $750.

Im not sure its a quad diff. It could be an early 3 wheeler. Surely you would advertise TRX also if it was a 4wheeler.
