I'm unclear whether it's in Selwyn or fringe ChCh city. If it's Selwyn as i suspect, there'll be some bloody big hoops to go through.
i note one of the locals seen on TV3 news was a well known brit/vintage bike parts trader - did not know he lived over there...

...I stay away from the inhabitants down that way...they are about as rare and precious as the three toed sloth snail and the one eyed kumera snakes...I have collected a few remnants of mortar and aerial type armaments that have been dropped or shot there...much more interesting than fossicking for agates...

Highlanders lead the Hurricanes at half time. That makes me cheerful.

Listening to the Norf island based media this morning having to eat their predictions will make me very happy.....

I can imagine what it's like for the Lander army as i was in Auckland when the Crusaders beat the Blues for the title. The guy who carried the tape of the Crusader music was on our flight into Chch so we landed to a suitable sound track. Epic.

I am ALIVE. The sun is shining. The earth is still spinning in it's orbit. I have no interest in rugby. Damn it is great to be alive. Oh, and I spent 3 days in the mountains and never saw another soul.

Seeing you back... it's been a wee bit too long between stage appearances, so-to-speak...

...I would like to have seen the Hurricanes take it but the Highlanders were dominant...I suppose I should be happy that a South Island team won...I suppose I am...a reason to be cheerful...
