He seems pretty cool, state house and his own shit goin on with the missus and kids. Can't be easy knowing the future is more of the same. I felt a proper dick head. Poked my nose into his business in the past and tried to help out with getting some tucker in the garden so I guess it is neighbourly to keep an eye, or ear, open.

Any hoo, motogp.. Sachsenring.. What will happen next this season? It's becoming an addiction.

Don't faint but they are actually starting to slip into him on the Motomatters forum at last, so it could be the thin end of the wedge. One of their contributors is considering writing to MotoGP and threatening to not renew his subscription unless they give ol' Zippy the arse... if a few more join in they may get the hint !

Maybe VR planned it. He knew MM was close and would likely try a kamikaze move up the inside. Leave enough room for him to stuff it in, move over a bit and brace for the glancing blow and be ready to go straight ahead over the gravel. Better than another possible outcome ie totally block MM and get totally tee boned out of the race. Maybe slightly far fetched but then again if anyone could pull off such a move it would/could be VR.

Bang on. Closed the gap (totally legitimately) and was anticipating a punt of some level. From above, the impact looked like much less than was required to launch him hard left into the trap, and the small wheelie as he was entering served only to confirm that he wasn't amazed/shocked/surprised to be running across there. But that's the difference between the two in terms of race experience.
And if Marquez does indeed get the shits he is falling into the psychological web that has ensnared plenty of previously-willing combatants in the past. Far better to laugh it off and seek revenge somewhere else...his management seem pretty savvy, so with the advantage of a cool-off fortnight and Sachsenring next, perhaps we'll see a dazzling and unexpected inside move from Marky Mark in the sequence of seven left-handers leading round the back.

What the fuck are you guys smoking? People will anticipate a bit of a rub on long sweeping bends, no one would risk on a hard break in, flick it over and gas it through chicane.

"Small wheelie into the gravel"? I gotta get my hands on whatever gear you take! That ripple strip is pretty sharp, so much so that both wheels were off the ground as he went over it.

Looked like Rossi stood it up and pinned the throttle, but that's just quick thinking I reckon.

i'd reckon that Mike Webb looked at the chopper shot and saw that MM didn't make the 2nd part of the corner - which would have put Rossi well off track anyway if he'd hung in there - and said " nowhere else to go to stay upright, sorry MrM, your fault, racing incident, results stand "
If MM had had enough control to make the 2nd apex with room to spare, maybe he'd have said Rossi pulled a swiftie, maybe....

For sure. Rossi shut the door by following his normal line. Marquez had a blinder of a lap to be close enough to try it on, would have been all his but for <500mm of track length.

    No foul.

I think Mike being an ex racer, would have also takin into account that MM let the brakes off to try and get under Rossi which actually caused the contact! Rossi was on the correct normal line on his entry, Clear as mud in the vids to see MM do that, but MM will come back stronger from that little lesson.

MM is going to hurt someone with this chuckin it up the inside Simoncelli style in a last corner dive when he's already at 130%.
Its supposed to be a non contact sport for a reason, safety. He's made it a contact sport by deliberate contact, there will be consequences.
Rubbing may be racing, but kamakazi marquez is over stepping the line.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

There was a gap (sort of) so MM took it. I reckon Rossi knew he was there (from past experience of doing that himself) and had plenty of time to pick it up and roll off. But which one of them would consider that on the final corner.
    What part of for(int i=0xC02;putchar((i&7)+69)&&(i>>=3); ); don't you understand?

MM closed up in the space of four corners...if I was Yamaha I'd be worried. Not so much championship wise but.

    MM for the next ten...

I doubt Yamaha went into this season thinking they'd have two bikes in frontof Marquez at all, or even one for that matter! The guy looked to be in a class of his own for two years straight.

Although he was, what he does seems to be something the others can adapt to. He'll win more championships, but I doubt he'll make it to ten.
