Knee slider porn

Got my knee down for the first time on Monday so thought I'd see what fellow KBers pads look like

Think the idea is to locate the ground to judge lean angle not to resurface the road with your sliders. I could be wrong though and I am feeling emasculated because my sliders have no marks on them.

If I put my bike on the axel stand would the belt sander do the chicken strips. Im worried it might stall the bike in first at idle speed and I don't want my friends to help with the throttle and see what I am doing.

Whoops sorry must be on the wrong forum. I thought this was a place where riders met to talk about bikes and riding. Well I did this the other day and thought I'd see if fellow riders had done the same thing (which I assumed they had). Didn't expect to stumble across a bunch of buthurt keyboard warriors.
