Why don't you use the belt sander to start the bike? No chicken strips and a long lived starter motor and battery.

OP rides a KTM 390, allegedly, and is 6' 10". Be hard not to, really.

That bike and that leg length and there would be slider damage just lane splitting cars.

    My mistake obviously
You misunderstand... First, hopefully you're doing it on the track because doing on the road is only asking for the bike/helmet/you to follow.

2nd, it's unlikely you did do it at the track, otherwise you wouldn't be calling it porn as you'd have your knee down every corner and know it's not much to write home about

And yes, it's to gauge the angle of lean/how much you have left. Your technique is expensive on sliders, but I guess soon you'll buy new ones that you can grind down?

Lots of diesel on roundabouts I wouldn't make a habit of doing that.
Most will agree the best place is during a track day.
Sweeper at Hampton Downs is a good spot for it.

Well yes, knee down i have come to the conclusion is more due to leg length and flexibility than rider skill.
