Lorenzo just too good today...bit of a boring watch apart from Pedros field carve up.

Unlee JL crashes out of any races from now on, he IS the 2015 champ now I say. Where the hell can I put a bet on that ? Odds will already be not good for profit though I guess.

Considering that the advent of the new Ducati was supposed to cure all of their front end problems, I'm somewhat bemused at the necessity for bigger "winglets" and thumb brakes. If those winglets get any bigger they have to be honest and call them wings.

JL usually rules fast flowing tracks. Throw a stop/start track in and Marquez is all over him and then gone and if Rossi can get in front of him he generally can't get back in front.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Good on Bradley too I say......that move he pulled on Rossi (as in pulling over to let him pass) was a good one, albeit that the race was won in the first two laps.
Moto 3 drag race was awesome....

He makes some great starts. But then its 2nd back to 7th where he usually hangs. Rossi did fluff it tho.
I see CC landed on his arse again, shaking his head like it was someone elses fault.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

I'm sure I heard the commentator call him Cal Crashlow?

They're running narrower fairings. I think the wings are still the same width to the outer edge. Can't help but think they shouldn't work at high speeds with more than 45° lean on. Well, they'll work. Just not to the aid of front grip.

The thumb brake is good for manual wheelie control I would think. Saves moving a foot.

Yea but nahh--I dunno. He doesn't seem to like duking it out like the other two do. Its been about clearing out and setting a blistering pace.
Get caught up in traffic at all so he has to fight for awhile and it could get very interesting.

When I was watching Dovizioso was using it while braking (funnily enough), the commentators said it was to aid turn in. That would make sense. If the new bike was such a success though that shouldn't be necessary.

Being a commentator must be a thankless bloody job. We like to whinge about Harris, on Twitter this morning the Poms were ranting about Keith Heuwen he seems to have pissed a lot of the BT viewers off.

Gaz, I was there in 2012. Pleased I went, but it must be the worst track EVER to view. The stand seats we bought enabled about 3% of the track to be viewed and on the embankment we saw about 10% but were so far away I had no show of knowing who was Stoner, Pedrosa or Dovi. The Czechs we spectated with were most dour people I have met in the world. They make good piss though.........
It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

Using the rear brake to turn in tends to help on any bike, whether it's a success or not. Thumb brakes tend to be a personal choice.

Thumb brakes are personal preference surely?

There's a 2010 article which theorises they have more to do with shaping airflow around the radiator (or, rather, through it) than anything else, for the simple reason of heat problems.
