Oh yeah, Repsol money is one thing - they needed to sell that product.
An investment company (where the money is not necessarily coming from the UK), needs to get a decent return on investment and that doesn't include tinkering with the product.
By his logic you'd only see Saudi players in the English Premier League.
It wasn't only repsol
Plus plenty of Aussies got a break with the fag money.
It depends on where the money is actually coming from. where they want to be seen in a positive light
Same as F1.
Remember some riders bring their own sponsorship too.
Also last time I looked finance is a product.

Oh yes it does.
They want to make it popular in some countries more than others ie countries where they get revenue from TV rights etc.
Think Rugby why SA has so much clout.
Think cricket why India also has so much say in how stuff is done where and when games are played.
Need I mention Soccer or the Olympic committee.

Can't be too harsh on Jack Miller, he's the only Kiwi racing in MotoGP at the moment![]()
Miller doesn't make a lunge from miles back. He catches up at the same rate as the tech3 bike just behind him. Miller simply didn't prepare for the two bikes in front of him to be bloody parked in the turn. I don't think he should have been penalised for it. Racing incident I think, nothing more.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
You are correct? Kind of! Yes the guys in front slowed up big time, but they slowed up perfectly, where as JM did not read what those riders were doing write, he was just focused on his own job, meaning he forgot to take into account other riders may do something different, which all are entitled to do ( Unless dangerous) So it was really just his youth fullness and enthusiasm that caused this racing incident
