Still no answers better than "them".
Considering how many media outlets there are in the USA, that's a hell of a lot of people to control.
They are very very good at gagging people whose career is based on telling stories aye.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Wow the webpage just crashed while I was typing how it works.....
98% of world media controlled via corporate ownership and company structures so that about 6 people have total control over whats published.
The job of editor at paper, mag or tv channel is coveted job that's hard to get. Stories are closely checked for anything that might offend advertisers, let alone people who can land a rendition team on the roof with helicopters.
In journalism you have to culture contacts to trust you and give information to be able to tell a story. Just look at recent scandels in NZ news with ACC etc.... Try getting someone in govt dept to talk to media now on anything sensitive...
I totally freaked out one manager at transit just by doing basic journalism 101 and getting his number and mailing address for interview questions on minor topic.

Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket - Eric Hoffer
Interestingly too, over the last 30 odd years through take-overs, buy-outs and merges, roughly 50 individual major mainstream media corporations have been reduced to about 6.
The number who control the media is getting smaller all the time.
Just add money - enough to be comfortable - dependency - debt - fear - positive/negative suggestion - manage the required outcomes!
Occasionally a righteous renegade will pop out of the woodwork - brand him a whistle-blower - publicly denounce him/her - you know the drill.
When "they" have a firm hold upon your genitals - the head and the heart will follow - carrot and stick - punishment and reward - dependants?
Your goose is cooked![]()
History is all around you - are you debt free - do you have dependants - are you free to say and do as you like/want? - if not - why not? - can you see "them" yet!![]()

No one gives a shit when you use the word Jew unless you are spouting off the same tired old neo Nazi shit as you pollute all the other threads with.
The fact that quite a few people individually call what you post racist propaganda should be a hint that it is tired old racist neo nazi crap.

Recent media mergers in the United States
Over time the amount of media merging has increased and the amount of media outlets have increased. That translates to fewer companies owning more media outlets, increasing the concentration of ownership. In 1983, 90% of US media was controlled by fifty companies; today, 90% is controlled by just six companies.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mainstream_media![]()
