It does sound a little weird but it could easily just be the microphone on whatever he's using to record it.

Ask him to wheel it outside and use someone else's phone. Or better yet, go see it in person.

I guess this is the one you're looking at. CBR250RRs are great and all but it does seem like a lot of money for a 25 year old bike.

I gather you want something exciting for a little while until you get your full. Go have a ride on this. 125cc may sound small but an RS125 is definitely not a boring bike.

That's the bike, unfortunately I can't go in it as I'm live in North Island, hence the video .

I will try the RS125 but I think that's a bit too weak for me , but I shall find out

LOL oh man you have a lot to learn. The RS125 would take a long piss all over that Honda.

I bought a brand new RS125 in '04 when nobody knew what they were. It has cleaned up a huge number of much larger bikes over the years & completely engaging to ride.
It's one of those bikes I'll keep forever because there's nothing quite like it.

I've heard the rs125's are pretty mental....

Wouldn't mind taking an rs250 or NSR for a fang

Just picked up a second cbr250r today to Frankenstein up a bike

The CBR is a hoot to ride. Absolutely hilarious how far they rev and not too bad a handling bike too, you do need to absolutely scream them to have fun though so keep that in mind. Their engines from what I understand are an absolute bitch to work on as everything is so tiny, so if anything were to go wrong you would be in for the big bucks to fix them. That said it is a Honda and provided it's been looked after (there is no way of knowing) then you should be alright.
I do think these bikes should have dropped in value a bit since the new LAMS laws came in though, they are no longer the fastest thing a learner can buy (bar the 2bangers that is which are now banned).

The RS125 would be a good weekend toy, never had the chance to take one for a spin, but I was racing on a 1980 GP125 in buckets last weekend, if it is anyway near as much fun as that then pounce on it fast!

I may be in Timaru over the next few weeks so if I'm there I will pop in for a looksie, I would suggest you may be able to find something closer to home though if you look hard enough.

Thanks Autotech, let me know if you go down and look at the bike, would appreciate your opinion on it, if it's not sold prior.

And the cost of repair is what comes to mind about the 250RR or any other bike.
Been looking for a while for someone who has cbr250rr in Wellington but haven't had any luck so far

    Cheaper and lower ks:

Ask him for a reg number so you can carjam it and check KMs. 4k ONO means you could pay less than 4k...

    Or this one:

Being in Chch would also mean you don't have to fly as far to check out a bike, flights from Welly to Chch not too bad mate.
