Fat Bikers are making the effort

Yes indeed, November already and the FBMC are back on the road for a meet, greet, eat and all for a good cause. Its an early start but well worth it....

Here's the details for those heading down from Auckland:

    When Sunday 22nd November 2015

Meet Point Meet Caltex Bombay 7:45am (Yes 7!..:45…… I did say early) role out 8am

Waikato crew to head to Kingsgate Hotel back car park for a 9am meet for a 9:15am departure to school

Come on all you past and present LOR riders lets get out there

2008 ....it's got 26k on the clock. Goes real sweet and quite a bit more economical than the red one...and a bit quieter too.....It has factory panniers and a pack rack as well . They'll get put to good use in the new year with a 5 day SI tour all booked in ....can't wait to hit those west coast roads and pass's.

Gonna be up in the tron for four days in the last week of January. Will catch up at the "club" then

Went exploring today... managed to find Nikau Cave and Cafe after wading through a few km of gravel. The ZX14 seemed to enjoy it... so did I

Done the gravel stretch down to Port Waikato ....that's a cool pice of scenery too and while on gravel ....Kawhia to Raglan is great trip too ...generally a good smooth limestone base with 80 clicks on a sport bike easy to maintain ( until you sneak up on a grader maintaining the road )

Got the tanks filled, tires pumped up, bikes ready - A very well worthwhile cause and the organisers go to a lot of effort to make for a great day. Just hope the weather stays good or I might just stay at the school all day and eat their beaut bacon & egg toasties??

    nah - its ride time
