Malcolm and I did half hour stints and my legs still hurt. I don't want to contemplate a one change strategy.
Stock is best
Feel as good as gold, jumped off and twenty minutes later wanted to go again. Iron man two hour next year I say or even a four hour two man.
It's not what you ride but how you ride it!!
Nice work lads. One superbly built and prepared bike, two very good but somewhat ugly riders, and the required bit of good luck necessary to win any endurance race, and it was a well deserved win for the out-of-towners. Chris and I did our best for Auckland and 2 strokes but could only manage third.
Firstly, thanks rod.... I think? Lol
Secondly, you are now calling yourself an Aucklander ? What next....
Sorry to here you won't be at first round of the north islands as your riding so well, but I'm sure it going to be hectic at the pointy end all summer, so in another way I'm glad!
