    He's right though.

For every person in NZ that genuinely complains about Christmas being insensitive (or whatever their ridiculous argument against it is) there will be 10000 people vocally complaining about them complaining about it. None of us would even know about it being an issue* if we didn't hear from people complaining about the complainers.

    *Which it isn't.

Robbo, you keep calling me gay like it's some kind of terrible insult. Do you have a problem with gay people? It's 2015, time to grow up and move on. Bigots aren't really welcome any more.

    'Tis the season!

Please guys, BDOTGNZA would appreciate consideration being given to the correct spelling of words such as Arsehole for ensuing shit-slinging posts. Otherwise, 5.5/10 so far.

Hey, if the cap fits...Maybe you'll think twice before insulting a member because you don't agree with his post.
Just remember that what goes around comes around and you've had a bad habit of this on many of your posts.
I've had many greens over this from members who have the same opinion. You fire reds out again with insults
you'll get the same and more back. You play nice and you'll be accorded the same. Your choice.

I didn't realise you were so sensitive. Sorry I'll do better to protect your feelings in future.

It's not a major issue for the particular specific event under discussion. it's a major event for the future, when we all get used to the fact that we have to be Sharia compliant... regardless of whether we view it as the thin end of the wedge or the slippery slope, it's a fact. Just ask the Belgians, or the current inhabitants of Londonistan...

I would argue there is no need to be "compliant". As an immigrant myself, I have a problem with immigrants moving to a new country then trying to change the laws to suit them. If you want a certain set of laws, or established beliefs changed in your new country, you should have stayed in your old one, otherwise, adapt to the lifestyle of your adopted country.

NZ has plenty of cultural celebrations (Chinese New Year etc). Try going to countries that have strict laws/dress codes (ie, no bikinis) and see how you get on with changing their laws. Seems fair to me...

Just about every western country has Chinese new year celebrations because it is a huge money maker.
