Love how you include yourself in that. The gremlin actually has some talent to go with what he rides.

Do you actually have a point in that comment or are ya just wanting to get a reaction ?
I guess I just cheated the last time I raced and won club champs in superlite

I was glad to see him do well.

However this weekend doesn't compare well with the Suzuki Series. Gav was there but didn't look like he was firing at all, Jacob blew an engine so Greg had to put the tired old one in (I think it's his original 450 engine from 5 years ago), I think Steve is out of hospital now but nowhere near riding yet, I don't know if Leigh has found another engine to replace his broken one and Sketchy wasn't there.

It'll be interesting to see how it all goes once they get to Hampton Downs (I'll be there for that one, trying not to finish last in my 2nd ever NZSBK weekend)

That is what you may think in a world of theory dude, it comes down to suspension set up " ALL DONE BY ME" and knowing when to twist the throttle. Gavs SV has a shit load more tourque than my 450, as proven of the start line each time, but I carry higher corner speed, and brake later.

Thanks for the compliment though. And I will not get into a wanker on line fight with ya dude, over all that shit on this place. now FUK of DREW. A championship is about taking points every where, and some times good and bad luck helps make the final decision, we are a long way away from hom yet, but I am happy how things have started, considering I had never had this race bike on a track untill last thursday, and it still has not been on a Dyno, as said a few posts back by me " I am fine dude"

You'd have to do better than that if you want a fight online with me

Seemed you thought him doing what you did is a perfect recipe for success. My point was that you're not in the same league (by a very long shot), as Shaun.

Mate, you take things on here a bit seriously. You might think you had something to apologize for but I didn't. It's all good.

As the saying goes though "That's racing", a race lost in the pits is still a race lost. When it comes to a championship Sean has given himself a good buffer I would think after one weekend. Anything can happen though.
Lets hope Sean gets that bike on a dyno, it certainly was getting through the corners rather well and wasn't hanging about on the straights.

Shaun is now the odds on favourite to take out the Superlite title no question. You can't beat a great start to a campaign and he's only dropped 5 points of 75 and given his experience, knowledge of the tracks and ability to set up a bike you've got to say he's the favourite.

His weight, the back end grip a 450 triple gets, his set up of the bike and he knows when to open throttle so he was getting out of corners really well.

No Dyno, it turned out they did not have the soft where to do it, so the same bike as last round, but that is cool, as I am not riding it as well as I can yet, so it will make me try harder this weekend. I know I should have gone at least 1.1 seconds a lap faster last weekend according to my written de brief too myself on saturday night aftyer the 1st race. But after 12 years of not leeding a race, it is bloody hard to stay focused and concentrate on the main job, rather than thinking where is every body, which naturally makes you ride slower and make little mistakes, as your focus is now being shared rather than focused on one job at a time.

I will be changing bikes to the SV650 for the nth Island rounds Shane, and running a Nitron shock and Nitron fork kit, so that will need a bit of set up time for my own liking. My settings are normally rather different than what the book suggests, due to my experience and history of suspension set up. And turning the 450 back into a F2 600 for Paeroa and then back into a 450 as a spare for the final NZ Champs round. Only the cost of a head gasket or 2 and a bit of time to re fit and remove valves etc, easy really.
