Christchurch - classic bike WOF + sparky?

    Hi all,
I'm in Chch & getting an old Brit bike (1947 Triumph) on the road - she's all go (I think) but need to take for a warrant.

Does anyone know anywhere that is 'sympathetic' to old bangers?

Nothing wrong with it not expecting to cheat the system just been messed around in the past with old cars (6v lights 'not bright enough' or 'trafficators not suitable in this day and age')

Also have another bike that I'd like to put a key or kill switch on if anyone can recommend a good auto electrician.

    Cheers
    Nick

Cranford st garage do bikes, the guy there is very friendly and seems to like having a chat about the bike when I take mine in.

Roses auto electrical just along the road from them seemed to be quite reasonable the couple of times I've dealt with them.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Roger at Road n Race motorcycles does a lot of work on old clangers, look him up.
I believe he has an arrangement with the car workshop next door to do WOF's etc, but it would pay to chat with him first. He might be able to assist with the gasket also as he knows things maaaaan, he knows....

Lucky me that I work for him then!!

He really does know his stuff, especially about classic European bikes. We can do pretty much anything to any bike
