    Honda VF1000

Just getting my Honda VF1000 ready for WoF and just wondered if anyone on here as one or knows any other owners. UK VF forum knows of only 26 FF's registered over there and just wondered how many there are here ?

Had one in the showroom for ages way back in 1986 black and silver ,can't remember if Whe sold it or sold to another dealer. Most likely less than 20 sold brand new . They sold more VF 1000R's here as NZ got a lot of overseas unsold stock . There were some VF1000F2's full fairing that were sold here in red. Hope this helps

memorys jaded but was working for bill Russell at the time and being a young prick,vf500 was my goal,im not sure but think the 1000f was 10 g,the hot talk was the 750 though and few held back for the vf1000R release, but the R proved to be a bit like the TL000R which was not great, crap in fact.the Rs were sold cheaply and the f2 model even cheaper.the F also came out right after the disastorous vf750sabre which had Honda camchain cancer.i liked the F the best of them all though

I owned an FF 2009-2010. Sold it to a bloke up near Whangarei. He rode it for a while then took it off the road.
