Nah, he was right, I could see his point.

I will be replacing him sometime in the future, (unless something else happens).

Sustained loss of traction,
caused by sitting for far too long unused and creating a non round wheel
it can take a while but you can make it rounder by rotating the tyres between each trip.
stop buying those cheap retreads and get some decent rubber on there for once.

same with my motorcycle once I sorted the tyre pressure mucho betters.
