I had a Guzzi with the Heron head, the Heron design makes for interesting reading, but a pretty gutless bike.
For those of you who don't know what it is, the head where the valves go is flat and the combustion chamber is in the piston, works for aircraft engines of the 20's, Cortinas and Jag V12's I think.
The current crop of Guzzi 750s are probably the same.
+1 on Moto Morini 3 1/2 with drum brake and spokes.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

I see what you nearly did there.
But the Hardley RR250 won three consecutive world championships and 350 one.
I'm not sure if the Barton Buell even finished a race meeting.

Who said I wanted to piss off the hardlyableson T-shirt, bandana, and matching jeans club. I just wanted to buy my way into a group of devilmaycare righteous bros and get some respect. Might as well ride a decent bike while yer at it.
After all Harley is my middle name. No really, it actually is.

Aermacchi Harley Davidson.... might actually be a giggle to ride. I believe most were 50 - 250cc 2-strokes.

Until you guys started talking about the Barton Buell, I didn't even know it existed.
