Its not that he cant ride its what he chooses to ride that makes him slow,many years ago at our 1st meeting we set off from a rest area and to his credit he managed to get the front wheel on the Guzzi a few inches off the ground so made a point of tucking in behind him (thought he might as well get the ticket) expecting a decent pace but na....... up through the lakes as slow as a wet week.
