How smart are your smart devices?
    For your convinience, of course.
I'm a Network Engineer, none of my devices are "smart". If I want it to be smart i'll do so on my terms, with a PC or micro-pc running it.

I also know that ethernet over power barely works at all. Pretty much the worst network infrastructure in existence.
    Yeah, nah.

but, enough to collect meta data, or initiate remote collection and line it up for sendage over the wireless eh. enough to log who whan and when eh. They dont need to stream your 5k porn, just know that you are.
Enough to open a 33.8baud session into the backdoors in your uefi, or droid rd eh.

just because im paranoid doesn't mean theyre not out to get me, eh.

(and, by all observation, a fucking idiot.)

    I will if you do.
Your a sad "Internet" expert who pretends to know everything but has little to no real world education or knowledge. Your only source of entertainment seems to be trolling a motorcycle forum - despite the fact you don't ride a bike - can you even ride?

I guess being an internet troll is all you will ever amount to in life- sad really. You deserve pity and sympathy and probably a mental health checkup.

And with all the cars and bikes having led headlamps now I expect they will upgrade to camera and mic that will self report your driving style to cops....

Relax - NZ can't afford it. According to Bill English tonight the cops have had to get a loan to cover wages as they've fucked up their holiday pay...

We're talking about govt here, that's never stopped them in the past, sensible budgeting and spending *snigger* lol.....
Why do you think they are paying for the national superfast broadband rollout, existing ordinary broadband is plenty fast enough for streaming/downloading HD movies.
Just like people thinking they have to have the latest smartphone many people will pay ofr thes enew lights and the rest will be mandated to buy them under green emmisions laws like the fireplace saga....
