Canterbury Car Club, Weekend of Motorsport

MCI was invited to have a class at CCC Weekend of Motorsport so we decided 250/development/F4 was the only was to get good numbers and close racing we had 16 buckets and 45 odd bikes on the grid. $20 entry covered transponder, garaging and entry

It was very different running at a car club event with hefty fines to be had for breaking the pit lane speed (laser gun was being used). there were no major oil slicks and only minor crashes (but I wasn't at the final race on sunday) DC came out of retirement and showed the MB/RS can still put in good lap times. But the skinny kids Hoogie x 3 and Poo Dray lead the charge showing all the development and 250's how to ride chopping out mid 1.50's.

For the bike race fraternity who think bucket racer's are weird go to a car meeting with Drifters and we are main stream normal!

Sub 2 min but still 4-5 seconds a lap slower than the skinny kids.
