The sad part is the trainer is the best and most qualified around and does heaps of volunteer work.

There is nothing sad in this thread, but Mark's indignation.

If I had to teach something (that I'm not good enough at anything to teach it is moot. This is hypothetical), I would constantly be making jokes of people clearly not cut out for it.

Your opinion or do you have an in depth knowledge of all other Motorcycle trainers in NZ? or just in the Auckland area.

Did he have a hand in teaching your missus or was that all you?

When I did my working at heights/ropes and harness training, I nearly walked out before it started. The instructed gets up and does the normal speal, and tells us the facility has a 100% pass rate. I misunderstood and thought he meant you needed a perfect score to get the endorsement on your high risk license. But no, everyone passes it turned out.

That's not fucken right! Some people simply shouldn't be allowed to have the lives of others in their hands, but there it is.

If I was searching for training in anything, I'm pretty sure I would search for the facility with the lowest pass mark. It tells me they take whatever they're teaching very seriously.

Exactly. To many expect everything to be easy for them these days.

Agreed, just because you turned up doesn't mean you learnt anything.

I agree with the firearms licence philosophy, you can get a few wrong and still pass the course, if you get one of the safety questions wrong you're out on your arse.

If you get 26 wrong you probably should fail. And people are probably entitled to point and laugh.
