This one looks reasonably tidy, and actually at a reasonable price, with the bonus that you don't get with most of this stuff of rego on hold instead of long dead.

Still don't think I could ever bring myself to buy a landcrab though.

Thanks, I nearly jumped on him for that, but just get sick of explaining that a Mini is not a Landcrab. There was only one Landcrap, it's not generic!

Rego cost is coming down again for the cars it seems, $48.75 for classics now, according to this site:

At least they fixed the suspension, so they won't get seasick while driving it.

Nice! And different. I bet a lot of younger ones say "Wotissit?"

Mine is a ute - 1.3 litres of raw unbridled power!

And does 4,000rpm in top gear at 100kph...

    Still, $50 of 91 every 5 - 6 weeks compensates a bit.

I believe so, and probably had an even greater aversion to going around corners than the Mk4 Cortina with a 4.1 falcon donk in the front that I drove once.

Aussie "Leyland Marina Red Six" I've only ever seen one. Pretty rare this side of the ditch.
Same OHC six as the P76.

Still got a "Modern Motor" with a road test of the new TE Cortina somewhere...They thought the same as you but were a bit more polite.

There were 6 cylinders sold in NZ. I bet there were bugger all though as most buyers (victims?) opted for the V8. The MOT bought a fair few V8s for mufti cars. Not much point as we were well aware that roughly one in 3 P76s contained a snake. We had one for a while in Wainui. The officer used to slide down in the seat to try and hide, causing much amusement to us local miscreants.
