So there was this new, as yet unopened bridge, and Kenan Sofuoglu had a turbo Kawasaki to play with.

Funny what goes through your mind.
1. I hope they warmed up the engine first ...
2. Is that a Kawasaki indicated 400 or a real life 400? My Ducati manual says my speedo is set to read 8% high - what's the Kawaka.
3. Does it matter if it is a Kawasaki 400 or real 400 Allan - it is very very fast.
4. That bike looked so much better than the green ones usually used.
5. Did he wave?
he waved at the end.And it had very little trouble acheiving 400 it seemed
From memory it took 26 seconds. A maximum of 30 seconds had been set because of fears the tyres wouldn't hold together longer than that at those speeds.
From what I have seen of record attempts that wouldn't qualify as such, but I guess Kenan was offered a special ride on a brand new bridge and took it.
Besides Kawasaki, Redbull, Motul, and whoever, all get publicity.

Im calling it bullshit.
The guys from trickstar in japan tried to max out a stock H2R and a modified one.
The stock one hits the rev limiter at about 330kmh, and the fastest they can get the modified one to is about 350kmh (~380 indicated).
If they were serious about 400kmh they would have used accurate timing equipment, not a gopro aimed at the speedo.
