simple question, why did the Soviets modify a air-raid shelter into a gas chamber? what was their intention?

What concerns me most is the idea that we're losing sight of the idea of retreating from conflict rather than escalating.

The police should follow this protocol to the letter.

Taking someone's life should always be the last resort.

I think you'll find the de-escalation of conflict is a better protocol to follow. As a retreat allows the conflict to continue unabated.

Bullshit. The cop is unlikely to know the mind of the person in front of them.

Should people be killed simply because they're mentally unstable?

Should people be killed simply because somebody else is mentally unstable and the cops were following the retreat protocol?

That's what I mean by de-escalating the situation, sometimes retreat is the answer, sometimes it isn't.

If a situation escalates to a point where a life is in immediate danger then I believe lethal force is justified.

I'm not convinced that that degree of restarint is SOP.

There are too many examples of premature sentencing.

So what you're saying, is retreat only sometimes? Like when a retreat would de-escalate the situation... no where have I heard that before

I say retreat until someone's life is in immediate danger.

What can't you understand about that?
