It's corten, theory is that it's supposed to rust.

It's a theory that can only have come from a fucking BA wielding, tofu weaving undergrad pretending to be a local body funded cultural director's secretary.

Corten is for truck decks, it's a little stiffer and a little harder wearing. Outside of Kansas you still get to fucking paint it.

I still can't believe the price, maybe I'll ring around tomorrow and find out who cut them. Not sure to applaud their chutzpah or abuse them for misappropriation of funds.

It's being sold as an architectural cladding also, the shit's everywhere. Rust is the new black apparently. The rust prevents... rust.

If you find it was the cutting crowd in Bell Block go easy on the guy, he's pretty crook apparently.

Aye, works better in stainless and aluminium though. I used corten for deck plating on my schooner, sometimes you can get away with 4mm corten over nominal frame spacing whereas in MS you'd be up for 5mm. Still worked out stiffer, and the weight makes a big difference at that height above waterline.

I don't really have a problem with that sort of back door charity, in moderation, it was common as fuck well before they invented "proper" social welfare.

Let me guess, this is one of those times where 'printing' can mean just about anything except the printing of currency...
