Meantime...something for the Haters.

As my heart sank watching Rossi waiting to be saved from under his bike, something occurred to me. So I'll put it out for discussion and ridicule from you lot.
We've seen time and time again what happens when an alien throws a leg over a GP bike. They crash their brains out.
Jorge
Stoner
Rossi
Marquez
They all crashed quite a bit as they learned the limits of these beasts.
Is Rossi going through this a second time, due to having had to completely rewrite how he rides/races?
Marquez changed the game in much the same way Doohan did. He tamed the beast into sumission, rather than learn to do what everyone else does.
I'll have to wait a year for my answer proper, but there's fuck all else to ponder this season.
...worth pondering Drew...far better than taking it all so personally and getting yer knickers in a twist...#46 blew it, #99 stepped back up to the plate and blew it in a very brave manner and #93 has proven that he deserved the 2016 title...I'm bitterly disappointed that Vale has to go home beaten but that's racing...always next year for him and despite the reactions of his re-invigorated haters, he proved he still has it...love them all...
Alex Rins (Exciting) and EEEAAAHHHNNOONNEEE (less exciting unless you like watching crashing)
I'm inclined to think the same, with Young Mav on the other Yamaha and MM now showing the maturity to win many more titles it's not going to be easy for him. Throw in the Ducati with JL, DP on the Honda and you have lots of riders able to beat him. The fact that he's still in the equation at all though means that there's a chance he could still do it. I'm not a Rossi fan by any stretch but to see him do 10 would be incredible.
MM still has some learning to do as he's still crashing a lot, which is his strategy apparently, go out in practice and find the limit then never go near it in the race. It works only if you don't hurt yourself, which he has been remarkably fortunate not to have done too often in his career.
I'm still a bit shocked by the wrap up yesterday, if anything could sum up how bizarre this season has been the race yesterday is a great example.
Wonder how Binder likes his new hairdo, found it funny the mechanics caressing his locks in parc ferme. He gave it all to win, love how much he backs that bike in compared to most the other moto3 riders, certainly looks like he's got it on the limit.
If I were to pick a best riders of the the season it would probably have to go to Binder and Bagnia on the Mahindra. He's been up there most the season on the bike with no way near the top end speed of the other bikes. You could see yesterday that as soon as he lost the tow that was it for him. I hope they give him some HP next year if he's sticking around as that package looks good enough to win with him on board.
Rossi has said that the crash was unusual, he was doing nothing different but the bike went down.
As for tattoos, young people these days spend big on ink. I used to work near the local WINZ office. You'd see the kids outside, on the dole since they left school, they've got nothing, but they've got tats and they've got piercings. Guess we all have our own priorities, they'd probably think spending money on bikes and riding gear is crazy.
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop
Stoked Iannone is going Suzuki. He's fast and capable of battling for the win.
Heard that a few times this year haven't we? His and Lozengers looked like a textbook Mitchie mid corner wash out. Maybe they weren't able to keep the heat into the front like the Honda was?
Rossi knew he needed to beat Marquez and pushed to try to do so, it was a win it or bin it moment for his championship as he couldn't afford to finish behind again. Almost better to do it this way rather than watching him squander away for a few more rounds. Now they can get focused on getting the bike ready for next year in the next few races as the title is sealed.
Agreed, Michelin have put in a huge amount of effort this season. The big test will be PI.
Have a look at Rossi's comments on his crash. He had no warning, just found himself under the bike.
I was just disappointed to see the Championship end like that, especially after the last race at Aragon. Congrats to MM though, some brilliant riding this year plus knowing when to go for the points instead of crashing.
