There is no point in making a bike with those numbers.
Moto Guzzi do some with similar figures. One of the new Triumph twins is bigger but wouldn't make many more ponies. I note that HD are coy about the power figure for their 750 Street but I would be surprised if it made much more.

People buy these things. Maybe when I get old?

Not much use having a bike I can't legally ride.

Is the hornet 600 better than the gsr600 or bandit, fz6 and other 600 nakeds or are they just reliable but nothing overly special.

This would be something I would like in the garage. Assume the price isn't over the top. Not 100% mint but not far off.

If it's a recent jap import, it's more than likely a restricted version. Probably been sitting in a collection too - unused for too long.

Further to HD HP mentioned earlier, HD did a 1200 Sporty for the Swiss market limited to 28PS. Notably slow I heard.

Yeah it will be 45ps so they are claiming 60hp, but unrestricted ones were like 52. This will need ign probably pipes and think carbs will be 32s not 34s. Still looks good. But was only a couple of years back a mate bought the next evolution VJ23 for $5k.

Is it possible to get them to 60 hp? Or is that the fly wheel hp when de restricted?

But, but a pferdenstarke is LESS than a HP. 98.6% of a HP to be precise.

Yup. So Jap import will be restricted. Nz model should do 52. Jap let'ssay 45 minus 1 Jimsworth.

Yeah 60 easy enough with a little tunning. 70 possible with quite a lot. 300cc kit helps. None of which helps reliability.

Jesus how did he manage to put less than a 1000km on in 13 years!
Guessing that's a mistake? Or seriously whipped?

I reckon if I had the money to buy that it would have 10k on it in about as many weeks.

Just as well I can't afford it.

Hard to tell on mobile from a single photo but it doesn't look high mileage. More stored.
Maybe the other side is fubar.

Well that ones as cheap as chips compared to this one:http://www.motorcyclenews.com/promos...uzuki-rgv-250/

That's their bike of the day today. That translates to a whisker under NZ$14,560 at today's rate. And yes, I'd like either of those.
