Big ups to Bikebusters of Ngaruawahia.

I am currently working on rebuilding a DRZ250 trail bike. This is the mythical " cheap" bike. Bought it cheap and now it threatens to bankrupt me due to needing everything doing to it. Very astute SVboy, not! Still, enjoying the process........ Anyway, I needed a complete gearbox. Contacted Wayne at Bikebusters on a Monday. He had one at a reasonable price. I paid via Internet banking and it was on the doorstep by Tuesday arvo. Very impressed. On reassembly, found the stator was burned out(f&@k). Contacted Wayne again and they had one. It arrived next day. However it tested poorly, had some burnt wiring and broken plugs. No good. Contacted Wayne, sent it back and promptly received my refund incl postage.
I think this is commendable service that deserves a mention. I will certainly use this company again, and given the nature of this project, that is probably going to happen!

    Waynes a good bastid.
Mildly stressed from dealing with bike enthusiasts, but does his best.

    Thumbs up

I've used him to dig me out of the mechanical poo a couple of times and wholeheartedly agree, his willingness to see you right is pretty much unequalled in the bike wrecker industry IMHO.

I called into his place on one of my trips from Wanganui to Aucks once, and boy does he hold some stock! Organized and relatively tidy premises too.

In comparison I have been disappointed by the attitude of other wreckers in the Auckland region repeatedly.

Wayne is now my first call every time, and a day or two wait for delivery is nothing.

Another very helpful wrecker is Simon from Goodparts down south, very helpful and quick with replys to emails enquiring after parts, fast delivery to north island to.

    Well, that's that then, innit?
Crasher has spoken. Is he any good at coffee?
Then we'd all have the best of both worlds, new ones and second hand bits!

You're not suggesting that Crasher is good at coffee are you?

While I haven't had the pleasure (I live further up the island), I've heard his coffee described as 'freshly ground because it tasted like mud' and other non-favourable comments.
