Fuck 'em if it did, I'd still ride haha.
If only I had had a camera when we first met.
His wheelie across Bealey Ave in 2005 or 2006 was when my admiration was born. It was professional admiration at hat time, as I was wearing my blue suit at the time.
It gave me cause to ponder that age old enforcement question.........is a decent wheelie really Careless Driving? Looked fairly careful to me.
But one has to do what one has to do. Especially when watched by ones direct line manager.
Still, a good wheelie with one hand is a good wheelie, any day.

Now that's Kahunas and skill.
I admit I spent a lot of time back in the 70s learning how to do wheelies, sadly I was a miserable fail at it, still I did get to do a few bike jumps over 5-6 of my fellow bike mates laying side by side at the back of a raised dirt bank in Kowhai park while riding a 1967 TC 200.
I made sure I cleared with speed more than skill because two of the guys were brothers from a large well known Boxing family, lol
And you can't spell.
I remember that day well. Your first words to me were 'Pull over up ahead. I don't want a race'. Figured that was fair enough, I wouldn't want to lose in front of my manager either. It was a fair cop though guv', you were decent (as I must say 99% of the police I've had dealing with are, must be the attitude test thing), and if I remember correctly you gave me the choice of what charge I could have. Dangerous or careless...
