"Look, Madame, where we live, look how we live ... look at the life we have...The Republic has forgotten us."
I think you will find hes more of a cross between Caligula and Nero.
Caligula (12-41 AD), Roman Emperor, whose final words were "I am still alive !" he dies soon after, as a result of being stabbed by his own guards.
Nero couldn't even find a guard loyal enough to be willing to kill him.
His last words were, "Qualis artifex pereo." ("What an artist the world loses in me.")
Or "Too late! This is fidelity!" depending on the account

Some here have seemed confused about what the Electoral College in the US is. Larry Lessig, Professor of Law at the Harvard Law School has written an article in the Washington Post. One of his areas of expertise is copyright, particularly as it applies in the age of the Internet, and he had been working with Aaron Schwartz. He also made a submission to the NZ court in the Kim Dot Com et al extradition case.
In this instance though his topic is the Electoral College and its function. The article explains why it's there and how he thinks it should operate. I found his conclusion somewhat startling, I hope he's not holding his breath.

Ha, what a load of wishful thinking garbage.
They don't campaign to get the "popular vote" so the popular vote is irrelevant.
The reason Hillary did well in the popular vote comes down to being inflated be the blatantly biased media.
Trump won in a landslide slide, the dishonest media seems to miss this fact.
simple question, why did the Soviets modify a air-raid shelter into a gas chamber? what was their intention?
Another case of involuntary suicide connected to the Clintons

Perhaps this is why Yokel is such a fanboi....
Trump's people have already claimed they have a mandate. For the benefit of the hard of thinking, if there are more votes cast against you than for you, you don't have a landslide nor do you have a mandate.
