Now this...is at least very cool. Who doesn't like a purple Norton!?

actually pete i'd say the indian is $5 over what it would probably sell for and the norton more than $5k over?
at the end of the day army indians are a cult bike in nz and finding a low owner one that's complete enough to restore is hard, it may not be this years price and not cup of tea at all though....

Ah old Circusbabe, asks lots of questions and never bids...

Hi - could you please confirm if this is a Commando S with correct and matching numbers Thanks circusbabe (349 349 positive feedback) 6:55 pm, Mon 3 Jul
I'll be flogging a 72 Combat Roadster soon, might have to give it a rattle can coat of Purple.

Norton depends on whether you want to ride it or take it to shows, as a rider I'd want a Roadster or Interstate with a disc.

Agree probably about 5K too much, but it is pretty.

I like the Indian, not enough to actually own but they are cool.

If it is the same bike as my mate's brother had it is a genuine 750s but was a horribly unreliable damn thing. The pic I put up was it's 1st run out of ChCh after he got it and the first thing we made him do was ditch the silly bloody bars it had fitted, he was a big lad 6'6" so when riding it looked like a gorilla on a tonka toy begging for mercy. It broke down at Little River one time and was towed back to town using a leather belt tied around the grab rail of one bike whilst he held onto the loose end

This has been up for years and years.

Who does he thinks is going to buy it? It's a mini bike. Too small for an adult. Waaay too expensive for a kids hack. Waaay too old for a serious kids racer and it never was a racer. Fail. 3hundy and it will live another life making a kid happy until they want a real bike.
