(And yes, I tend to take fuckwits turning bikes into death traps, a little personally).
Still not going to let you have it

Or a pic when it lets go and puts you in A&E

Though as per most of the urban potato tractors in Aus the center of the tire will be cut to the carcass in no time with completely fresh edges

    Now this has me interested.

i went to Dunlops tyre site and searched HD's appears they fit 150's to 3 inch rims 160 to 4-4.5

I tried to find your ride but it was not featured so I trolled some FFSXRFUCK HD model number (some of these are wild) and gave up searching for a 180. I was hoping to see the rim width recommended by Dunlop. I just don't know my HD models well enough.

I did find on one forum there was a HD 180 kit (up from a 160) that included the tyre and various brackets to move items further out to clear the fatter tyre. No record of rim width.

Go on - post the picture.

wower so much disagreement / discontent!.. maybe I should reconsider. Let me seek 2nd opinion from 2 different Harley and Dunlop dealers. might consider wider outer rim and re-lace the spokes, Thanks guys for steering me into right direction. Hard to believe what I'm seeing in front me though & advise I was given from HD & dunlop! anyway, thanks guys. Just trying to be a safe rider out there! Will post a before and after photo.

Remember ... she thinks the 20 year old tires on her honda are perfectly fine. Still got plenty of tread left ...

As long as he keeps it in Sydney ... we won't have to worry about him on NZ roads.

And who knows ... he might start a trend ...

Hopefully ... only in Aussie ...
