A slightly dissenting view, it's not long since I was reading people questioning whether riders who only won a single title should be admitted. Now a guy with no titles? I'm with Zarco. Can't help feeling this was done 'cause the show just happens to be in the US of A.

Then again I've never forgiven him for what he did to Croz...

Marc Marquez demoted from pole position to fourth on the grid for the Austin MotoGP.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.

As far as I'm concerned, that's fucking bullshit. Who's to say MV was capable of a 2.43? He was never anywhere near close to being able to do so. Yep, MM got in his way. But hardly the first time some cunt has done so. Forget last round, that has nothing to do with this round. THIS, is what happens, when the tail starts wagging the dog. Nice work Rossi. After a huge effort to save a biff, he gets on bike number two, blows them into the fucking weeds, and gets penalized. Hope he makes them eat shit tomorrow.

I can't decide on this one. An entertaining loser and great ambassador. I don't mean loser in a bad way, that's racing.

Zarco does (or did) do a lot for bike racing in France.
I think he's got the pip, worried he will forget how to do back flips.

Are you foaming at the mouth there Crasher? I fear it is true. The Golden Boy was slowly dragging his arse around on the racing line. Ban him I say.

Far from foaming. But if you want to fuck a great sport, they're doing a great job of it. As it was, the front row was as it was always gonna be. What right does MV have to claim any fucking different? And how's putting a guy that was 1/2 sec faster than everyone else on the second row, behind guys he was faster than gonna help shit?

Mate I don't doubt MM will carve thru tonight, bank on it .

I was up real early, crook, so watched WSB race and then a little of FP4, but all the Qual I missed.

The only did it to annoy you. I don't think it will slow the bugger down though. In my mind, the only places in dispute are 2nd and 3rd.

I hope you sick cases recover soon anyway. Gazza - Did you ride past my place and catch Ebola?

That wouldn't be a silly bet. His history at CoTA stands alone, barring a bin it's his to win.

I see that Pol Espargaro was also penalised 3 positions for some reason?

I'm assuming it was a incident in Q2 but haven't seen any footage of it.

As for Marquez, reckon it was fair. Just hope FIM stewards remain consistent

Because MM stopped MV getting pole? Despite MV having another completely clear lap, where he failed to get within half a second of MM?

No, because he impeded another rider by being racing line when coasting. Doesn't matter who he baulked, or how fast they were going.

If he did nothing wrong, why would he apologise? So he's in the wrong, I guess the new setup with race direction deciding if someone has done something then passing it to FIM to decide the punishment, means the riders are gonna have behave a bit better.

Good luck sanitizing the living fuck out of such a great sport. Don't cry with the end result though. F1 racing, with passing only ever done in the pits.

Nor is your reasoning on point.

MM was clearly riding like a muppet on the racing line. He knows the rules or is he so arrogant that he thinks they don't apply to him.

He's under intense scrutiny now so his rivals have to take full opportunity from it and make themselves as wide as possible and block pass him until his head explodes again.
If not then Doohan levels of dominance will ensue.

    Go Vinales.
