    May as well, seems every Brass you have to buy a new tent, either demolished by drunks, hot fire embers, and that year of the wind the sales people were rubbing their hands.
    Decision to stay or not is subjective, depends on health on the day, I always enjoy the ride to and fro, done well over 10 only just claiming my 10Y badge this year- roundtuit. Tradition deems a stay at Ranfurly, Oturehura, or Naesby for Friday Night, allows a look around the area St Bathans, Ophir, etc, before heading to the usual band-fire-talk shitte ho-hum.

    I have to sayi was freaking out ice the roads such like but was okay . and like you say day was fine . its at night temp drops.

    Not even sure that lake ida is that right next door weather had ice on it i know they do curling sport on there in winter.

    Bloody cold in palmerston north today icy let alone palrmerston sourh.
