Drew, it's a shame the water here has been poisoned to kill some bug.
the water is now the worst in all of NZ..
it is so bad the just last week, the local mayor has ordered that the amount of chlorine be dropped,
like D said, it IS like drinking pool water. i bet even you wouldn't drink that..!

but at the end of the day, this thread is about "Ranting" on a friday night.. and if it offends someone.. that person has missed the point...
i remember the early days of this site, the good old days, where we could rant and rave.. and everyone knew it ment nothing more than just that,
if it was directed at anyone/race/religion.. it didn't fuckin mater... it was only fun.!
but if anyone took offence, THEY were eaten alive by better wordsmiths than me... but all in GOOD jest..!!!!

Maybe Drew hasn't travelled much? Christchurch used to have the best water in the country, then somebody thought it would be a good idea to put irrigated dairy farms in one of the most drought prone places in the country with a relatively high water table. SURPRISE! The aquifer now has harmful organisms in it.

I was hosting a national championship once and received abuse from the Canterbury contingent for not warning them about the taste of the water here. Even when brushing their teeth. Next time I buy whisky I'll also buy some bottled water. Our tap water could taint the whisky. Seriously, sometimes it is that bad.

Also you left your self open by starting that whole conversation with an abrasive argumentative response to something that didn't even involve you in the first place.
