    Ax100 won't rev over 4000rpm problem

My Suzuki ax100 was running perfectly when got it then I replaced the fuel lines and it ran like shit and it wouldn't go over 3500-4000 rpm under load but in neutral it revs fine so I bought a new fuel line and new spark plug and sanded the coil connections and cleaned the carb and a whole heap of stuff and it still runs like shit, any suggestions that might help

Got to be the first place to be investigating. Look for a kink in the new fuel line that is restricting flow. Is the line the same internal diameter? Not external - internal, if it's smaller it will be reducing flow.

Did the old line have a fuel filter in it? If so did you use a new filter on the new line? If it had one and you have not put one back maybe the carb now has some shit in it from the tank.

I do not believe it's a plugged up muffler cause it was running fine then it just started running like crap so I don't think the muffler got plugged up over night haha

I believe it is the same inner diameter but am usurp because I think I've thrown away the old line but I'll look some more and try and the old line didn't have a filter but I've cleaned the carb and the peacock so the carb should have shit In it

:UPDATE: I have found the old fuel line and put it on and it was a bit bigger and because I don't have any where to ride my bike I put it in 2nd on the stand so the back wheel could spi freely and held down the back brake a bit to simulate it being under load and it reved to I would say about 8000 so I believe it is fixed so thank you very much for helping me

I'm sorry, Fishboy, but you're going down in my book as the chap who had a peacock on an AX100. Very non-standard.
I do admire your courage in cleaning it however. I doubt if I'd have tried.

    Carry on.

    It's a factory option
