If you lot thought Boris wrecked Corbyn you aint seen nothing yet.

2020 is going to be an absolute landslide for Trump by the time this impeachment circus backfires on the dems in spectacular fashion.

Im seeing posters on there who were ardent lefties even only 6 months ago voting for Trump 100%.

Even social media in this country has totally flipped from 3 years ago. If I went on FB one news or newshub 3 years ago I would see almost across the board anti trump sentiment. Now its almost the complete opposite on many Trump articles on those fb pages.

People are waking up. But its a slow process.

I read this morning that representatives of just 7% of the population can exonerate Trump. Every state has two senators. There is a huge disparity in the numbers of people represented by each senator. Some senators probably represent more horses than people.

So I just did a quick check of some 2018 population statistics.

    New York 19.54 million
    California 39.56 million

    North Dakota 760,077
    South Dakota 882,235

So between them New York and California have four senators representing some sixty million people.
The Dakotas also have four senators representing somewhat over one and a half million people.

From memory there are seven states with fourteen senators that have a combined population less than California with just the two.

If you hear senators talking democratic process, don't laugh so hard you spill your drink.
and NZ has a deputy PM that no one voted for and a PM that almost no one voted for. So what's your point???

He doesn't have any. Just a talking head full of crap. The two articles of impeachment don't even state any high crimes or mistimeaners to charge Truimp with. Lets see if Pelosi presents them in front of the Senate.

I'm comfortable a president with consistent 40% approval ratings will not be winning by a landslide.
Demacrats are certainly doing their best to hand him victory in2020, I'll give you that.

True! - Democrats appear to have developed a lemming gene and it is taking them over completely! - - Maybe their only way back will be to create a civil war? -

Why is impeachment being pushed so relentlessly? - Once Trump has been acquitted he can not be impeached again - think about the consequences of that - motive to the madness perhaps?

Im also comfortable that your polls are bullshit. Arent these the same polls saying hilldog would win by 90+%???

If even the fake stream media is saying Trump has 40+% approval I bet in actuality its way way higher than that.

It Took A Long Time For Republicans To Abandon Nixon
When the House of Representatives voted in February 1974 to give the House Judiciary Committee subpoena power to investigate Nixon, it did not have the weight of public opinion behind it. According to a poll conducted by Gallup just days before the vote, only 38 percent of Americans were in favor of impeachment.

POLITICO/Morning Consult poll conducted in the immediate aftermath of the vote.
The narrow majority who approve, 52 percent, is greater than the 43 percent who disapprove of the House voting to impeach Trump, the poll shows. Five percent of voters have no opinion on Trump’s impeachment.
support for Nixon continued to plunge throughout the long summer of 1973, while former White House lawyer John Dean testified in Senate hearings that the president had been involved in a cover-up of the burglary and a White House aide confirmed in closed-door testimony that Nixon had set up a secret White House taping system. And by the time of October’s Saturday Night Massacre — where Nixon ordered the firing of special prosecutor Archibald Cox, who had been demanding those tapes, and the closing of the special prosecutor’s investigation — his approval rating had plunged to 27 percent, which is about where it stayed until Nixon resigned.

As Nixon’s approval ratings fell, support for impeachment was rising more gradually, reaching solid majority support by early August 1974. That was right in the midst of the crucial two-week period when the Supreme Court ordered Nixon to turn over the White House tapes, the House Judiciary Committee voted to approve three articles of impeachment and Nixon released the transcript of what became known as the “smoking gun” tape, which showed that he had helped orchestrate the cover-up. His support among his allies (who had included some conservative southern Democrats as well as Republicans) had already started to erode significantly, but it was the “smoking gun” tape that finally forced his resignation on August 8, before the House could vote on impeachment. At that point, the public was clearly behind impeachment, although a significant minority of Americans — including most Republicans — still didn’t think Nixon should be removed from office.

I haven't seen that before. It would be understandable that he couldn't be impeached for the same offences, but he commits crimes nearly every day and there's likely a whole lot haven't come to light yet.

If they get his financial records and tax returns he'll be toast. If.

I think you will find hes being condescending by behaving in a patronizing manner. Something you try to do but never quite pull off as you cant generate any respect to achieve the high ground.
I notice its only threads you post in that get sent to PD. its an rather telling statistic that links your involvement with a thread and its likelyhood of ending up in PD.

Its pretty obvious the impeachment is unlikely to oust The orangatan at this stage unless some people in his enterage are subpoenaed (Unlikely)as there is not currently the numbers in the senate which is controlled by the repungnalickens

You had a message, it was brutal and 100% correct. Now though, it's all over the show and gives nothing to anyone. I wish I was debating with that guy!
