Even social media in this country has totally flipped from 3 years ago. If I went on FB one news or newshub 3 years ago I would see almost across the board anti trump sentiment. Now its almost the complete opposite on many Trump articles on those fb pages.

People are waking up. But its a slow process.

So at some stage the impeachment process will head to the US Senate - or not. The US Senate is about as democratic as the DPRK (North Korea).

I read this morning that representatives of just 7% of the population can exonerate Trump. Every state has two senators. There is a huge disparity in the numbers of people represented by each senator. Some senators probably represent more horses than people.

So I just did a quick check of some 2018 population statistics.

New York 19.54 million
California 39.56 million

North Dakota 760,077
South Dakota 882,235

So between them New York and California have four senators representing some sixty million people.
The Dakotas also have four senators representing somewhat over one and a half million people.

From memory there are seven states with fourteen senators that have a combined population less than California with just the two.

If you hear senators talking democratic process, don't laugh so hard you spill your drink.
