True, that too would be nonsense. Although that does not limit any other other nonsense including, so far, yours.

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Pathetic. Bush and Blair fabricated a war, absolutely 100% proven fact, yet they're walking around freely. Some dude from NZ goes to in another manufactured war and wants to return home and can't, because hell be thrown in jail. There was no terrorism. It was out and out aggression by the West to try to oust Assad that expanded a so called civilian war to encompass many nations. Allowing "them" to call it terrorism allows "them" to get away with everything, because it is "they" who get to decide who are the terrorists and "they" who get to decide who are the aggressors.

Legality v's morality. You're right, that probably is beyond you

True words, the USA are the biggest terrorists on the planet

I have no idea who you are arguing with, but it isn't me. God knows what goes on between your ears, but I'm not interested. You too can go on ignore. You've set the record for the shortest time.

I can't for the life of me figure out why I'm not on that list as well.

You seem intent on ignoring anyone who holds a different opinion to yours.

As Jason says, at least that's one way of convincing yourself that yours is the only valid opinion.

You get close sometimes but you have made a positive contribution in the past. Although that is starting to seem a very long time ago.

If he said that, Jason is exhibiting his customary lack of judgment.

I have no idea where mashman came up with the stuff he wrote. I have no objection to discussion, but inane babble is another matter.

What I have been taking issue with is Katman's comments about handing prisoners to the cilvil authority, and that he said New Zealand troops were "guilty" of this. He apparently considers this unacceptable but refuses to suggest an alternative. I would be genuinely interested to read of his alternative plan because I can't conceive of one. To criticise the only option seems stupid.

And my comments have been directly related to TDL's suggestion that invasion of a sovereign country is justified if it's ruler allows torture to be carried out.

I'll make it simple for you, I don't disagree with you on that. We'll only ever be fed bullshit by the relevant government as to the real reason. It might be oil, or it might be W's daddy issues, but they won't admit that.

I was asking you to justify the comments you made which I considered offensive but OK, you've got nothing.

    Moving on...

Offensive? My god you're thin skinned.

If you're so upset over my use of the word 'guilty', I'll try to remember to never again suggest you're 'guilty' of ignoring anyone whose opinion differs from yours.

That is pretty much everyone on ignore. Why do you even bother? Why don't you take your blather elsewhere?

Would someone please quote this so the silly old coot sees it. He has me on ignore.....

I wasn't arguing. I was explaining my reasoning for seeing Katmans argument as not specious. S'ok though, I'm used to the KB "I don't understand you, so it's all your fault" bollocks... t'was funny seeing it come from yourself though.
