I'm trying to look at the opportunities the virus and general panic buying may bring. Rubber gloves are going to run out soon, I am buying up condoms in bulk. When the gloves are sold out I'm going to sell the condoms as mittens.
As a result, 2020, 2021 will go down in history as the plague of unwanted pregnancies, no one will even remember the virus and I will be wealthy as fuck

My flatmate gave me notice as he found a long term flat, normal programming (he was only staying for 3 months).

Today he tells me he needs to stay another 2 weeks as his new flatmate is returning from overseas on the day he was supposed to move in, and will be self-isolating for 2 weeks, so he can't go there.

Hey ho, two more weeks' rent without me having to interview new flatmates. I'll call it a win.

Trump advised that people suffering from symptoms should continue to go to work - then denied he said that, but of course it was recorded. 'Not a clue', would be a wild understatement.

The Dow is down again, a Washington state university has closed to prevent the spread of the virus, but more importantly the South X South West festival in Austin Texas has been cancelled. Cancellation of SXSW doesn't bode well for the upcoming GP.
