That was actually more interesting than I thought it would be considering the source. The US statistics she used are questionable though, there is still only minimal testing in the US so there can be no reliable statistics.

Something I saw this morning, a person in the US was exhibiting the symptoms but couldn't get tested for Covid - 19. They got tested for flu instead - and the test came back negative. The person is assuming they have Coronavirus and is acting accordingly.

This (BS?) will pass and the only (tangible?) difference will be that "we" will be more controlled, less well off and under greater surveillance - all accepted as the normal situation in less than a generation.

The "Families First Coronavirus Response Act" (such a catchy title) was passed by the House of Representatives (after a little horse trading):

But there were a few other points included in the Bill worth noting:

1. Banks will no longer have to meet capital reserve requirements, and can now use capital and liquidity buffers to lend.

Of course the capital released will be used for making loans to small businesses. Take Don's word for it.

2. The House bill pairs an extension of the intelligence programs with certain changes to the court created by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

This is the same court that the FBI persuaded into granting a surveillance warrant on a Trump adviser during the 2016 US election.
