There was Dr Lockwood Smith who has a PhD in animal science. That would have been handy in Parliament.
He may not use the Dr so much these days, Dr Sir Alexander Lockwood Smith is a bit of a mouthful.

A doctorate is a doctorate, but saying that, I would rather an MD or at least a BVSc take out my appendix than a DMA.
I was reading that before and having a chuckle about it, the interesting thing is the previous Presidents wife claimed to have a degree which they didn't which wasn't honorific or even earned through study it was plucked out of thin air.

As recently as July, Melania Trump's personal site said she obtained a degree in design and architecture at an unspecified university in Slovenia, her country of birth.
