Really? Interesting as the world's experts have said it isn't our distance from the rest of the world that was a deciding factor, although it helps limit the permeability of our borders. It was that we listened to the health experts and progressively shut our borders and had mandatory isolation from returning citizens and we stopped the visitors early, but the most important factor was we were then brave enough and had the co-operation from t the people to use an effective lockdown strong enough to eliminate what had snuck in.
